I spent a long time trying to figure out what was going on in my head. Eventually I went to a psychologist and after an evaluation and many session I was diagnosed with DID. A good friend of mine told me I was dissociating. That is what pushed me to see a therapist. There are too many reasons why you may lose some time that are not DID. There are health reasons, stress, age etc. I think it would be best if you found a therapist you trust and work with him or her to find out the best course of treatment. I hope some of this helped.
