They are always very vivid and I'm so fed up with them. I know I move a lot in my sleep but I don't know if the movement is caused by, or causing the nightmares or nothing to do with it.
I have enough sleep problems as it is so I'm really fed up with this because it's getting to the point where it's nightly now. I've always had them but at least had breaks from them but now it's months and months of solid nightmares.
I always wake up in a panic and have to check on people who were affected in the dream.
I don't watch or read horror, I've tried relaxation techniques, I've tried the whole thing of trying to pre think a situation before sleep etc, I don't know what to do anymore but I'm pretty sure that waking up on a borderline panic attack day after day can't be good for me :/

Hmm, it sounds like you're suffering from a nightmare disorder of sorts- I read about such a thing, I forget exactly what it's called. Perhaps a therapist might help you sort it out, or maybe there's a med that can block the neuron receptors that is causing this to happen.
