I would wait and see about the BPD diagnosis. Unfortunately it is often not always an accurate diagnosis, especially when someone is acutely unwell which is why it may not have been listed at discharge. Focus on what you know - the things that you are struggling with currently and needing help with now. The diagnosis at the moment isn't as important as the symptoms you are experiencing and needing help with.

Thank you very much. I'm sorry I haven't responded until now. I am meeting with the psychiatrist on Friday, so hopefully I can get some answers! I do need to focus more on the symptoms and on feeling better though. Thank you so much for the support. Everyone here is wonderful and it is so nice to know I can come here.
