Yes. I am on Trileptal for mood stabilization, and it is helping. I am tentatively dx'd Mood Disorder NOS, they think possibly Bipolar II. They are ramping me up slowly as I have other medical issues, including multiple sclerosis. That is the main reason the p-doc picked Trileptal instead of Tegretol, it is a bit gentler on the liver, which is already having to process Interferon 1-a every week.

I started on 150 mg bid and am now on 300 bid. I expect she will raise it again next week.

It does seem to make my ankles swell a little, and I get nauseous for a couple days after she raises the dose. Other than that, no issues at present.
