I have been on lamotrigine for about 3 years now in combination with another medication and it worked very well. Eventually, it's stopped working to a point were the depression is almost unbearable
I finally got a psychiatrist after 3 years of searching and she said that I am prone to seizures now that I've been on these meds if I off them too fast? And turns out she's replacing the lamotrigine with topomax (similar medication)
I'm just feeling a little irritated,as no one told me this when I was prescribed the lamotrigine.
Anyone else had any similar experiences?
