When you say you have MDD, what are you referring to?

It's just that there IS a specific name for what you describe and it fits those initials, as it happens. It's called maladaptive daydreaming disorder, or compulsive fantasy. If you do a forum search for maladaptive daydreaming there have been a few threads on it.
