For me Depakote makes me starve and doesn't help with mood stability! Lamictal is my choice for an anti-convulsant since it also works as an antidepressant at a high dose and is weight neutral. Lithium also didn't stabilize made me and me very hungry too. For daily mood stability LATUDA rocks... it's weight neutral as well!! Best of luck!!
