So, I will likely be going in for a gyno visit (joy) and I just realized that I have not seen the guy since April of last year - which means he has not seen my scars. Assuming I don't si before the visit (unscheduled for now) all of the scars are old. But I guess, in my anxiety, I can't remember if my upper thigh would be exposed in the "work up" - I don't know if the thighs are covered or not.

My GP was near my scar on my ankle but never mentioned it (and it wasn't as old as these are at that time). This guy has only seen me once for a check up and thus never saw the ankle or the thigh scars. No doubt this guy will see the ankle stuff even if he doesn't comment on it.

I don't mind telling him the truth (i'm a relatively stable adult and i'm currently seeing a T) but I imagine it would be very awkward. Has a doctor ever seen & commented or asked about your scars?
