I began taking Lithium several months ago, before I was diagnosed with BPD. It was given me for mood swings. I wasn't diagnosed with Bipolar, but I do know my meds Dr. mentioned it a while back; my T doesn't really agree though. Then came the diagnosis of BPD a short while ago. I haven't found the Lithium at all aiding with my presence of mood swings, but I am sure some do.
