I have this medicine in my mental illness first aid box. I am to start with 5mg at night or 5 mg morning and night and clonazepam and call pdoc.I have taken this when I have had psychotic symptoms at start of episode. I don't like this medicine but it is very effective for me. The dose usually is increased and I have continued for many months as needed along with epilim. I do feel "spaced out" ,drowsy and gained a lot of weight when taking so I am always glad to decrease and stop it when I can but always work it out with pdoc.
