hard question to reply to because of so many differences between people and within inner systems with medications.

as for meds for dissociation? none that we're aware of. meds for concurrent diseases/disorders? sure, we're on a cocktail that is working for the most part. we've tried SSRIs w/o much long term luck. we're on another AD, we've run through most of the benzo class of meds and take an additional combo AD/anti anxiety..........did we set out to cocktail up? no way! are we grateful for the most part that our lives are livable now due to this cocktail of medications? oh heck ya!!

it has been much trial and error over the years and with different pdocs support. we take meds for the major depression we suffer from, we have meds for the subsequent anxiety that comes along with the antidepressant (AD) we take, then there are a couple others just to balance it all out.

the benefits outweigh the side effects (SE's) at this point in time.

klonopin (clonazepam) is one that is very tricky for us as too much is sedating and causes secondary depression........too little and doesn't smooth over the SE's of the AD. took us a while to figure this out and get the dose right.....right for us that is.

sorry for not having a more direct answer but hopefully the above gives one reason for there not being more replies.

good luck.
