I'm not religious, but an acquaintance I know is. She was very depressed with no way out. She started to prey before go to sleep. In the beginning, she could only cry when preying even though she was sad all the time. She almost quit. Slowly, from days to weeks, she started to feel better. Preying is another form of meditation, I suppose. No matter what, you're not alone on this. It will pass! Don't lose hope. Hope is strength. Hang in there. Feel free to message me :-)
