Me too.

It's terribly frustrating to be unable to get one's emotions in line with rationality. But it happens often.
The best practical advice I've heard is to just acknowledge the thoughts and the feelings, relax and let them go. Repeat as often as necessary.
Of course, even practical advice doesn't always work...
