Sher's books are very interesting and exciting to read. I'd get "workbooks" to twiddle with if you like that sort of thing. Christopher Biffle wrote Castle of the Pearl which I like (Perna means pearl in Latin :-) and my especial favorite is Following Your Path by Alexandra Collins Dickerman. If you're a glutton for punishment and want to find out what is really wrong with you :-) read Napkin Notes: On the Art of Living by G. Michael Durst, Ph.D. but be warned I threw it across the room several times :-) I'd have to say though that it's in my top 5 live-changing books and I still use its principles today to get myself back on the "right" track when I don't like the way I'm behaving.
