@medical fox re:new apt- yay for your new place!! I am truly sorry it is so cold though! I have a difficult time tolerating cold as well, and 60 seems extreme to me. If you cannot persuade or compromise for a more reasonable temperature, I agree that a space heater in your room may help, and using an electric blanket may also be an economical solution. I have one for my bed and one for the couch. They help me stay warm very well. Is the new home otherwise an improvement? Do you have enough space? Is it clean? Do you feel safe there? I hope if you can be warm that it will work out for you.
