Do you think it's possible something as simple as traveling for 2-3 weeks can just trigger this whole range of emotions? My mornings are just riddled with anxiety and the dark thoughts come and go, so they arent constant at least.

Do you have these fits constantly, or is it cyclical for you as well? Is there a story you have that I could relate to?

I am very bad at opening up in general so that's why I am here frankly.

I also take 225 mg of effexor daily and have moderate sleep apnea.

I notice that my periods of depression have causes. Specific instances from the past would be poor grades in school from adhd and my difficulty in forming relationships because of social anxiety. More recently, I started getting depressed because of the bad economy and poor job opportunities. Are there currently any things specific in your life (relationships, career, etc...) that could be troubling you?

I can understand if your trip to Europe could be causing some anxiety since it's a new experience. Are you going by yourself?

Weather can also play a major role in mood. I know it's been pretty cold and rainy these days and it also gets dark out earlier.
