When my husband needs to go in I end up scheduling an appt. for him. If he's scared, offer to go with him.
I avoid the doctor when I'm scared too. Usually it's nothing, but it's still so hard for me to get in. Hell, I'm avoiding going in right now.
What is it he's afraid of? The diagnosis? The treatment?
My husband used to snore so loud I would sometimes sleep in the basement. Man did I hate it. For him it went away when he quit smoking. For my brother in law it was a weight thing. For a few other people I knew it was sleep apnea and they needed a C-Pap to sleep with which stopped them from snoring and uncontrolled sleep apnea is hard on your organs.
good luck with your husband.
