we're so proud you're able to let us know some of what your homelife was like. we're also proud you've broken that legacy of abuse by not perpetuating the cycle. it is hard when one isn't raised with examples of alternatives to emotional or physical abuse......how could one know differently if one has never had positive role models to learn from? sorry it wasn't better or kinder.
