I think to remember to eat is a good first step, even when you aren't feeling like eating...if it's time to eat, eat. And try having a small snack in between each meal.
Grieving takes time...and it does take all your thinking and feeling...so you are right, it's only been a week and you might need more time before you begin to level out. I think your weight will level back out too, once the heavy grieving is passed.
