I typed in:

html tutorial css

into Google and found quite a few websites that offer free information on how to write HTML and CSS. Both code is readily available by looking at the source of any website. (CSS is not "protected," you can read it just like the HTML).

You can edit HTML in any text editor, like Notepad or Wordpad. You don't need a specific program to write HTML or CSS. Typing in:

free html editor

into Google finds:
