I also do this. I wake up in the middle of the night with food cravings I can't explain. I can't taste much during this time as the Seroquel I'm taking numbs my taste buds. But I still feel the urge to eat something. For some reason. I have also picked up weight and it feels like such a lost battle when I try control what I eat during the day and then just lose control in the middle of the night.
