All of a sudden this site seems to have an auto-censoring function. If you write even a moderately naughty word, it bleeps it out for you. What's up with that? I find it infantalizing. It kind of bothers the very corners of my soul. Really, we can talk about sexual abuse and self-injury and all manner of trauma and angst but so much as a casual reference to, say, bodily waste, a rude word for copulation or even a perfectly innocent synonym for donkey and people are casting about for their smelling salts? Come now.

Do you guys love having one small corner of your world that gives you a little respite from all that profanity? Do you feel like you're in kindergarten? Are your free speech feelings hurt?

If I knew how to make this into a poll I would! Anyone?
