My first time was when I was about 19 years old but I never s.i.'d (as in physically scar myself) again until this year, age 25. I don't think you're crazy at all. I feel like in doing it as an adult, I feel less like I "want attention" (because as an adult who really cares?) and while not necessarily the most healthy of choices, sometimes its is a needed coping mechanism.
