The guilt and neglect was unforgivable. My dad had artery blockage (pad) and I didn't even know. this lead to the blockage to the heart! I was afraid that he has lung cancer from smoking so I have make sure his lung was checked and it was ok. Didn't know about the artery blockage even though he complained his legs hurt. I always ask about his health and make sure he eats drink vitamin and goes to the doctor for pain med cough med...I never go to the doctor with him.

And the doctor never told my mom how bad his situation was. If I would have know I would take him to specialist immediately. It happened too quick and his heart blockage caused this tragedy.

Should the doc tell my mom? She goes to the same family doc! His condition got worser cuz he skipped meds and didn't go to see specialist. And the doc still didn't do anything. Up to the day before my dad goes to ER he went to the family doc who told him he was fine!

Sometimes am really mad at the doc for not letting us know all these years but am more mad at myself and feel ashamed of myself.
