My T has 2 clocks, one that is behind me on his desk that I can not see, the other is on the wall above the door to the office. for a while both clocks ticked and quite loudly at random times.
It really started to bug me as I thought it was intended to sound like the bilateral taps of EMDR and that he was "doing something to me that he had not asked permission to use". He had not even realised this when i brought it up, but the next week he had a new clock so only one ticked at random times.
