Yes, that's true. My shrink is also a doctor with lots of patients so he needs the in between session time to answer calls and phone in prescriptions so he has to be careful about the time. It is probably that there are others in his practice that aren't as sensitive, don't pick up on cues as you said, or are not aware of his own needs as I am.
