I'm sure there is another thread somewhere about this topic, but I don't have the time to look for it right now.

Anyway, I wanted to ask if anyone has had increased suicidal ideation or self injury after starting on Zoloft. I started at 50 mg at the end of October, and by mid November I overdosed on pills for the first time ever.

My regular therapists says I'm not on a high enough dose for my anxiety/ocpd/depression. I just talked to my doctor today to increase it to 100 mg.

My crisis therapist wonders if it could be side effects of the medication or if it's just coincidence because it's around the holiday season and stressors are piling up.

I don't have a pdoc. My obgyn is the one that prescribed the medication, and she knows about my SI. I was just curious. Thanks!
