As some of you may know, my pdoc wanted to see if I have a sleep disorder which is the root of all evil. (I still completely disagree with her)
I had the sleep study last night and it went ok. I didn't sleep well because the technician had to come in every 5 minutes to secure the electrodes that kept popping off.
Here's the weird thing. I now have a prescription for a CPAP machine. And the reason I was told is because my snoring level indicates that I need one. I don't know if I have apnea or not, but shouldn't the doctor who analyzes the results later on make the call as to whether or not I should get a CPAP?
BTW, a CPAP is a simple (but expensive) device that pushes air into your nose or mouth which you sleep in order to keep your airway completely open and unobstructed.
I dunno, to me it's just one more PITA to worry about. I'm suppose to use it everyday, even if I travel.
arrrrrrrrrrrrgh!
I dunno, I just feel like this is such a waste.
It's BP darnit. There's no big secret to it lying somewhere behind the scenes. It is what it is, so let's just treat it.
/rant.
