OMGoodness I must have overlooked these 2:

You had homemade ribbon barrettes in every imaginable color. (Oh yeah!)

You had a pair of Doctor Scholl's sandals (the ones with hard sole & the buckle). You also had a pair of salt-water sandals. (is this an east coast thing??)
<font color="blue">Well, Probably I'm from Chicago, Illinois. Those were the "In" shoes at the time. I loved my Dr Scholl's sandals, mine were red with a buckle. I remember running in those too! </font>
