Facebook, Divorce Linked In New Study

So yeah, FB is the worst thing in the world when it comes to real relationships. Causes nothing but trouble.
although there may be many cases of this, the truth is this study

"...Russell Clayton, a doctoral student in the University of Missouri School of Journalism, and his colleagues at the University of Hawaii at Hilo and St. Mary's University in San Antonio surveyed 205 Facebook users between the ages of 18 and 82 -- 79 percent of whom reported being in a romantic relationship -- about their use of the social media site and whether or not it had instigated conflict with their current or former partners.... "

first off this "study" is tiny. considering the millions (billions?) of users on face book this is a tiny microcosm of the reality of the base users of facebook.

Second, if you read what it says "...and wehther or not it had instigated conflict..." is highly an opinionated statement far from a defacto statement.

So yeah I'm sure fb can and does at times affect relationships but in no way can be assumed to be a major player in divorces. that's just way over simplification.
