I know this feeling! I can't imagine "the whole picture" of some days, so to get through them I do "trick" my mind.
I divide the process up into small steps. You know? I don't feel well enough to get up out of bed and go... but often have to get to, say, physical therapy as I will only get worse if I don't go...
So... I think, ok, first I will just get up... and that's all I agree to do.
Once I'm up... then I say, ok, I'll eat breakfast (or get dressed) with no idea of doing anything beyond that.
BUT as I complete each step, I say I'll try the next one. I focus ONLY on the next step, with an allowance that I can stop at any time... and NOT to look too far ahead, as it often is overwhelming!
