Hello ~ I am currently taking Buspirone which works pretty good for me. When I take it it usually effects me within about 30 minutes rather strongly, in about 20 minutes after that I more on an even keel/mellowed or mellowed out and stay within better control range. It's not perfect, don't think any could be, and at times I wish the Buspar didn't wear off before my evening dose. I was on Paxil for a few years, well before I knew I had BPD and it worked ok on my anxiety but seemed to make me feel too down. Then I hit this brick wall about two years ago and Paxil was no longer cutting it for me at all and my emotions spiraled, my anxiety soared and, well . . . here I am.
