From my experience its average. I have a 3.02 and its been pretty much considered shiznit. :/ But the good thing is that people in further programs consider test scores, community involvement, and other evidence of aptitude so we're not limited to solely being judged on it. Heck, it my opinion it is GREAT i'd love to have that, but thats just whats been my experience these last two years. It is definitely respectable - it seems anything over a 3.0 is acceptable and responded to well.
