I've read many gut wrenching horror stories, so I know this is pretty minor. But I'm still angry and can't decide what to do.

I picked my dog up from the groomers yesterday. Everything seemed normal...the only thing out of the ordinary was that the groomer was holding my dog. I figured he was just being spoiled. He was acting happy and calm. I carried him out to the car and put him in his crate.

When I got home, I went to get him and saw blood spots all over his blanket. I got him inside and checked him over. 4 of his nails had been quicked. I know it happens and I've done it myself and his nails are black...but 4 of them!?!

I'm furious that the groomer didn't mention it. I feel lied to and tricked. If she had informed me I would have taken precautions to make sure the bleeding stayed stopped...just like I did when I treated him myself when I got home. My husband just wants me to calm down and try to blow it off because my dog is fine physically. (but I'm sure he will remember this next time his nails are done!) And honestly nothing the groomer can say or do will make me feel any differently.

Am I just spoiled by my last groomer? Does crap like this happen? She moved out of state last year and I never realised how lucky I was. The only issue I had with her was one time she rushed to me in near tears when I came to pick him up. Nearly gave me a heart attack!! I thought something awful had happened. She was terrified that I'd be pissed because my dog squirmed and she buzzed a stripe up his forehead.
