Can't say as I have one particular role model. In another lifetime, I wanted to be like a friend I had. She was... or tried to be like a Southern Lady. Then I started noticing the fakeness behind it all and said "Nope! Not her!"

I suppose I consider Oprah a good role model but something's happened to her. She doesn't seem "real" to me anymore. I still admire her for what she's done with her life especially considering where she came from and the obstacles she's overcome. I wouldn't want to be her now, though!

Maya Angelou is another great lady. I've always loved Barbara Bush, Audrey Hepburn, Katherin Hepburn, I think I'm a bit "crusty" like KH, but as far as trying to be like them... no. For a long time now, I've been learning who *I* am and working on becoming that person.
