Mindfulness meditation and spiritual awareness has helped me immensely. I also chart my moods, medications, and hours of sleep. It helps me detect trends in my moods in response to certain triggers and predict impending mood episodes.

I abuse stimulants because I love inducing hypomania but am trying to stop because true mania is no bueno.
