Sorry this is late but as you probably discovered, cetyl alcohol is not intoxicating. The only alcohols you have to worry about are enthanol/ethyl alcohol (liquor), and tertiary-amyl alcohol (found in trace quantities in beer). All others strain your liver but not your brain.
