I did end up calling her. she tried denying it and then tried excusing it. She offered to do his next grooming free of charge, but I have serious trust issues with her now. If she had just told me what happened maybe I would have questioned her nail trimming abilities but now I'm questioning her ethics instead. Time for a new groomer.
