Yep, I defiantly wouldn't go back. Sadly that's quite typical of both vets and groomers. Since the quick of a dog's nail is so close to the end, they can only cut a small amount without cutting the quick. Most owners aren't satisfied with that (They want the nails cut short) so they will cut it much too short and then just stop the bleeding (Which is odd that your groomer didn't do) not all vets/groomer do this, but a lot do.
