I personally would not if I felt I was doing fine. Luckily my insurance doesn't limit mental health visits, so my pdoc and T can see me as many times as they want. I'm sure if pdoc wanted to see me every week, insurance might get mad, but he normally does once every month or two depending on how I am doing and if we adjusted my meds or not.

$300 is a lot this time of year. If pdoc really feels you need to come in, the least s/he could do is work with you on payment.
