perhaps sharing a less sensitive topic with them. just saying that you have been struggling, that you have been tired and irritable. trouble coping and leaving the suicide off the table until you see how they handle the lessor symptoms you are having. once you are able to talk about the smaller issues and see they are non-judgmental and supportive then you can find someone you trust to open up to about your thoughts of suicide. you can always PM me if you need to talk. im anonymous and cant send you to the hospital and it can get all those thoughts out of your head. im here to listen.
