Nah, he just knows that I will probably not offer anything. But I will answer direct questions. Depending on how sober he would be (because let's face it, unless he was DD then he would have been drinking too) I would probably throw the same questions back at him.

But if I saw him in any other situation? No biggie. Depending on who we were each with I'd probably say hi. If he had his little girl with him but not his wife I'd definitely go say hello cause I like little kids. But if it was all three of them I wouldn't interject myself into their life. Then again.. I routinely get ambushed by students, so it's just how things go in this town!
