I disagree a little there. If you were psychologically addicted and smoked a lot, then yes, it would just be like an alcoholic, medicating symptoms. But if only used when necessary and not used as an escape then I see no harm. I medicate with marijuana for sleep. I've been an insomniac for 35 years. Therapy and proper medication have only helped for a while. I see no difference in medicating with marijuana for sleep rather than pharmaceuticals. And probably less side-effects.
But I do agree that research has shown a undeveloped brain (someone I believe younger than 25) can be damaged by taking any type of drug, including marijuana.
