There is a link from smoking pot as a teenager to developing schizophrenia later in life. Researchers are not saying it will happen, just your chances of it increase. Both marijuana and schizophrenia effect the same part of the brain in a very similar way. Of course one can come back and say but what about cigarettes they can kill you. True enough, but at least they come with warnings and the public is aware of the risks. We should all be as informed as possible and as adults make our own decisions.
