I wouldn't say I eat less when I am manic, but I would say I enjoy food more. I tend to make better dietary choices when I'm manic. When I'm slipping into depression I find I have a tendency to be "bad" going for comfort foods to try and make myself feel better. "They made me feel good when I used to eat them so why wouldn't they work now" logic isn't exactly my forte when I am slipping but oh well.

Bottom line I love food and more often than not my "too much to do" involves cooking in some way.
