I am so pleased that you are able to get a car and go see him. Your BF sounds like he is very supportive and with him at your side I am sure that you will be strong and able to see your dad and let him know how much you love and care for him.
Even if he is not awake when you see him, let him know. Hold his hand. He will know you are there for him, when he needs it....sending you a big hug ....you are so brave....x
