Have you spoke to your doctor about your anxiety? He might could give you something for it or offer other suggestion. I use medication but also believe breathing exercises to be crucial to keep it from escallating into panic. There are several methods. I just silently count to ten when I breathe in and slowly let the breath out. I do it ten times then see if it's better if not I start over. Hope this helps.
