No. Most of my friends are calm and cool, the opposite of me. I find them calming and soothing.
In my line of work there are a great deal of "personalities." Notably I know of a bipolar guy, he reached out to me after he caught me on this forum. I like him, but in general we don't get on all that well. The 2 guys I primarily work with are perfect co-workers for me, funny and even keeled. My husband is also like that.
I am very sensitive to other people's general affect. Another co-worker of mine is ALWAYS wound up. I never know where he is going with things and I have to mentally prepare myself to interact with him, his nervous behavior makes me very nervous.
As far as other women go I think a good borderline personality or bipolar lady can be ok because we can support each other, but this is not always successful. I generally stick with my quite guy friends.
