newtus, know that a couple of the descriptor's are not indicative just to schizophrenia.
Take for instance
Circumstatiality - an inability to answer a question without giving unnecessary detail. My housemate, Miss MBA, is notorious for this. I dread asking her a question because it takes an hour for her to give me a simple answer because she throws everything in but the kitchen sink. She is not diagnosed nor seem to have with any mental illness.
Then there's
Distractible Speech - during mid-speech, the subject is changed in response to a stimulus, e.g. "Then I left for SF and moved to ... where did you get that tie?" My other housemate who is now a retired special ED teacher is guilty of this on numerous occasions but he has ADHD and not a mental illness. I have to say it's very frustrating talking to him sometimes when I'm really serious about something.
For me, although I don't have ADHD I get distractible speech when manic.
Just so you know, there are variables to diagnostic labels and what is considered a true mental disorder/illness and what shouldn't be misconstrued as such.
