Teaching is tough! I dropped in on half of a day just to watch my fiance teach his fifth graders. Oh. my. Lord. The stress must be off the charts. I have my BA in English and History and now I am completely switching and pursuing a masters in social work. I didn't know that social work was what I wanted until I did some volunteer work. It is pretty easy to get involved in some different volunteer programs and then you can see if any of them appeal to you. I think it is one of the best ways to try out different areas without a huge commitment. I hope you can find something that makes you happy.
